Vicky Prasetyo Officially Released From Prison, Family Prepares Special Event

Kapanlagi.com - Vicky Prasetyo officially released from prison on Thursday, September 17, 2020, afternoon. Vicky's release occurred after the panel of judges granted the request for suspension of detention submitted by his legal team.

Vicky's freedom was welcomed with joy by his family. His mother, Emma Fauziah, revealed that they have prepared several events to celebrate his return. 

"Certainly, there will be a celebration. Probably at home, maybe tomorrow in Cikarang. I don't know yet, but the important thing is that he's out now. We have definitely prepared, Betawi people will definitely have sayur asem (a traditional soup), teri (anchovies)," said Emma Fauziah, Vicky's mother when met at Salemba prison, Jakarta. 

1. Can't Visit

As a mother, Emma also feels very longing for her child. Especially since the reimplementation of PSBB in Jakarta, she can't come to visit her son. 

"He's been inside for two months and 10 days now. But because of the PSBB, I can't visit," said Emma.

2. Prostration of Gratitude

Released from prison after being detained for 2 months and 10 days, Vicky came out wearing all black clothes and a cap on his head. He performed a prostration of gratitude and hugged his mother as a sign of gratitude for being free. 

It is known that Vicky Prasetyo was held at Salemba Prison after being reported by his ex-wife, Angel Lelga, for defamation through a raid that he conducted some time ago. After being released, Vicky now has the status of a city detainee.
