Legal Counsel and Mother Willing to Become Guarantors for Suspension of Detention, Vicky Prasetyo Finally Released from Prison

Not only that, Ramdan also mentioned that he and Vicky's mother will be the guarantors for the freedom of the former husband of Angel Lelga.

Finally, the struggle of Vicky Prasetyo has paid off. The judges have granted the suspension of Vicky's detention, stating that he is the backbone of the family and the father who needs to provide for his children's needs.

"Vicky is the backbone of the family. Certainly, his income has been hindered during the trial, especially with the economic downturn due to the pandemic. Our client will not flee, will not tamper with evidence, and even the evidence has been tested in court," he said.

2. Initially Rejected but Succeeded

Vicky's legal team expressed optimism that the judges of the South Jakarta District Court will grant the suspension of their client's detention. This belief stems from the fact that the court has requested the submission of the detention suspension documents in the previous hearing, and they have been completed.

"We are optimistic because during the trial, the judges themselves have directed the creation of a letter, and immediately after the request was made, we have fulfilled all the demands, following the proper procedures," he concluded.

Previously, the judges of the South Jakarta District Court did reject Vicky Prasetyo's request for his detention to be suspended. After going through a rather complicated process, Vicky will finally breathe the air of freedom soon.
