Kapanlagi.com - Ayluna Putri or famous by the name Lucinta Luna personally read the objection note or pledoi against the three-year prison sentence demanded by the Public Prosecutor.
Through teleconference service, Lucinta Luna, who is in Pondok Bambu Detention Center, requested justice from the Panel of Judges.
"To Your Honor, I plead for justice," said Lucinta Luna in the trial at the West Jakarta District Court, Wednesday (9/9/2020).
The transgender artist explained that the justice she meant was because she felt she did not have 2 ecstasy pills as accused.
"I am sure that ecstasy is not mine. The result of my urine test is negative for ecstasy. I did use ecstasy in Malaysia, but that was a long time ago. After that, I never used it again," she said.
Regarding the possession of riklona, Lucinta Luna admitted regret. She promised not to repeat her actions.
"I regret it, Your Honor, and I promise not to repeat my actions," she said.
Therefore, Lucinta Luna hopes that the Judges can give a lenient verdict by considering her as the backbone of the family.
"I am the backbone of the family, Your Honor. Allow me to create again, allow me to gather with my family again. I request a fair and just verdict," she said.
As is known, Lucinta Luna was arrested in her apartment and declared a suspect of drug abuse by the West Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Unit on February 11th. From the arrest, the police confiscated 2 ecstasy pills and 7 riklona pills as evidence. After a hair test, Lucinta Luna tested positive for amphetamines.
In the prosecution hearing, the prosecutor demanded a 3-year prison sentence and a fine of Rp25 million, or 3 months of imprisonment as a substitute, for Lucinta Luna.
The prosecutor believes that the elements of the charges against Lucinta Luna have been fulfilled, proving that she violated Article 112 paragraph 1 of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics regarding the possession of ecstasy and Article 60 and 62 of Law Number 5 of 1997 concerning Psychotropics regarding the possession of riklona.
