Officially Free and Becoming a City Detainee, Legal Counsel Emphasizes Vicky Prasetyo Will Not Escape

Kapanlagi.com - Vicky Prasetyo finally gets to breathe fresh air after being imprisoned for 4 months in Salemba detention center, Central Jakarta. Today, Thursday (17/9/2020), this 36-year-old man is finally released after the suspension of his detention is granted by the judges of the South Jakarta District Court.

Baby Lestari, Vicky's younger sister, will immediately go to Salemba detention center to pick up her brother after completing administrative matters at the South Jakarta District Court.

"Yes. We are currently on the way to Salemba detention center," said Baby when contacted by phone on Thursday (17/9/2020).

1. Vicky, the Backbone of the Family

The release of Vicky Prasetyo will certainly provide some relief to the family's economic situation. According to Vicky's legal counsel, Ramdan Alamsyah, Vicky is the backbone of the family. 

"He (Vicky Prasetyo) is the backbone of the family. Certainly, during this trial, Vicky's income was hindered, especially during the pandemic, everything economically declined," said Ramdan Alamsyah.

2. Vicky Won't Run Away

As his legal representative, Ramdan confidently stated that while being a city detainee, Vicky Prasetyo will not run away anywhere.

"Our client will not escape, will not destroy evidence, the evidence has even been tested in court. Then the judge said 'okay if that's the case, please provide a guarantee letter from his family'" said the legal representative.
