Witness Confirms the Evidence of Reza Artamevia's Meth Only 0.66 Grams, Not 0.78 Grams

Kapanlagi.com - The continuation of the trial of a drug abuse case involving singer Reza Artamevia has just been held virtually at the East Jakarta District Court on Thursday (8/4). This time, the trial is scheduled to hear witnesses from the Public Prosecutor's Office (JPU).

After the trial, Reza Artamevia's legal representative, Kamil Daud, stated that the statements of the two witnesses in the trial are in accordance with the substance of the case.

"Yes, so far everything is in accordance with what is stated in the indictment, there is no deviation," said Kamil Daud at the East Jakarta District Court on Thursday (8/4).

1. Reza Cooperates During Interrogation

Kamil Daud added that the witnesses' testimony did not incriminate the 45-year-old singer.

"No (objection) because it has been explained by the witnesses that Reza has been very cooperative, nothing is hidden, nothing is concealed, because from the beginning Reza has explained everything. Even before being searched, he already said 'this is it (the item)' so it doesn't cause any difficulties," added Kamil Daud.

2. Evidence Only 0.66 Grams

Regarding Reza's crystal meth evidence, the judge mentioned that it weighed 0.78 grams. This means that it is in accordance with the Examination Report (BAP). Furthermore, the witness has also admitted that Reza only had crystal meth weighing 0.66 grams.

"Actually, it was already clear that if we talk about the gross weight, it was 0.78 grams, but earlier the witness, who is also the investigator who arrested him, admitted that the substance weighed 0.66 grams," added Beny Ehanusa, who is also Reza Artamevia's legal counsel.

3. Prepare Other Witnesses

In the next hearing, Reza Artamevia will prepare other witnesses to mitigate his charges. The plan is to have a witness from the medical profession.

"Next week, we will try to present a witness to mitigate our client's current charges," concluded Beny Ehanusa.
