Yudha Arfandi, the defendant in the Dante death case, is considering legal action against Tamara Tyasmara. This step will be taken because his ex-girlfriend is suspected of providing false testimony during the trial. Check out the complete story below!
This was conveyed by Daliun Salian, Yudha's attorney, after the hearing at the East Jakarta District Court on Monday (2/9/2024).
Daliun explained that this legal action will only be taken after the trial of Dante's death case is completed. However, the final decision regarding this step is still under further consideration.
"Once it's done, I want to take legal action because of providing false testimony related to threats," said Daliun Sailan at the East Jakarta District Court on Monday (2/9/2024). Â "After the trial, but we are still considering it," Daliun Salian added.
One of the reasons for considering this legal action is Tamara's claim that she often receives threats from Yudha. According to Daliun, Tamara must be able to prove that claim. If not, they will not hesitate to take legal action.
"Yes, as long as he can't prove it. That can be retrieved from the WA central, it won't be deleted, the evidence is like the Minister of Agriculture has his chats which can be opened even if they have been deleted," he explained.
In the continuation of the Dante death case hearing, Yudha Arfandi presented five witnesses who provided mitigating testimony. These witnesses included friends and former household assistants who were aware of the relationship between Yudha and Tamara.
"Even though they are Yudha's friends, we have reminded them that they must provide objective testimony. This means what they actually saw, heard, and experienced themselves. So it is not exaggerated, thus they are not lying," said Daliun.
The trial of the case regarding Dante's death with the defendant Yudha Arfandi will resume on September 9, 2024, with the agenda of hearing expert testimony. Â "That is the agenda for the legal experts, there are two legal experts," concluded Daliun Salian.
