Zara Adhisty and Ari Irham Talk About Family Conflict in the Film 'Bertaut Rindu', Even Writing Poetry at the KapanLagi Pensi Event!

Kapanlagi.com - This weekend is a special moment for students and lovers of local films. The KapanLagi Pensi Bareng Fanta 2025 event held at GOR Soemantri Brodjonegoro, Kuningan, South Jakarta, on Saturday (28/6/2025), featured rising young stars, Adhisty Zara and Ari Irham. Both appeared in a meet and greet session for the film Bertaut Rindu, which is set to be released on July 31.

Not just greeting fans, Zara and Ari also answered various questions about the characters they portray in the film. In a relaxed atmosphere, they were even invited to play interactively with young poet Hamza Muhammad, who crafted poetry from their answers.

"Jovanka's character has problems with her parents; we have issues with her parents regarding her dreams," said Zara Adhisty in response to a question about the character she plays.

1. Description of Jovanka

Not stopping there, Zara also describes Jovanka as a complex teenager, who is trying to find her identity amidst family pressures. According to Zara, Jovanka's family background makes her want to show her existence in a world that doesn't always favor her.

"Jovanka's character is delightful, she just wants to show her presence," Zara said again during the Q&A session.

"Jovanka's parents are divorced, her father has a girlfriend and is going to marry again, so that is what Jovanka wants to achieve her dreams," she continued explaining.

2. Impression of Ari Irham

Meanwhile, Ari Irham, who plays Zara's co-star, also shared his impressions of portraying a character that is very different from himself. According to him, the character he plays was born into a family full of rules and parental control.

"He is a teenager born with privilege. His whole life is controlled by his parents," Ari Irham revealed.

When asked if he ever experienced a clash of desires with his parents in real life, Ari did not deny it. He admitted to feeling something similar, although not as extreme as the character he portrayed.

"I definitely have, we are two different people but there is always a way out," Ari Irham responded calmly.

A unique moment occurred when Hamza Muhammad crafted poetry from each answer given by Zara and Ari. This warm interaction was met with cheers from the audience crowding the stage area.

Zara and Ari also reminded all their fans to watch the film 'Bertaut Rindu' which will start screening in theaters at the end of July. “Don’t forget to watch the film 'Bertaut Rindu' on July 31, 2025, in theaters,” Ari exclaimed, concluding the session with enthusiasm.

The KapanLagi Pensi Bareng Fanta 2025 event was also enlivened by young musicians such as Raissa Anggiani, Adrian Khalif, and DJ Tonehead, as well as various interactive booths that support the positive spirit of today’s youth.
