Ziva Magnolya Defeats Raffi Ahmad in Badminton at TOSI Season 4, Takes Home the Medal

Kapanlagi.com - Singer Ziva Magnolya successfully brought home a medal from the mixed doubles badminton event at the Indonesian Celebrity Sports Tournament (TOSI) Season 4. Together with her partner, badminton legend Mohammad Ahsan, they managed to defeat the pair of Raffi Ahmad and Bellaetrix Manuputty in the final round.

The fierce battle for the championship title took place at the GOR Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ), Rawamangun, on Sunday (11/9/2025). Ziva and Ahsan's victory was achieved after a thrilling three-set drama, proving the solid cooperation between celebrities and professional athletes.

Ziva admitted she felt a very different atmosphere in the final round. According to her, the pressure and the louder cheers from the audience made her much more nervous compared to the previous matches.

"Honestly, I feel quite a difference between last week's match and today, because it was more nerve-wracking. Maybe because it's the final. It felt like there was more pressure," said Ziva Magnolya after the match.

1. Sitting During the Long Rally

One of the most attention-grabbing moments was when Ziva chose to sit in the middle of the court during the long rally, leaving Mohammad Ahsan to struggle alone. Ziva explained that the action was based on her full trust in her partner's abilities.

"Because I trust Babah (the affectionate name for Mohammad Ahsan) more. So it's up to Babah to finish the game," she said while laughing.

2. Appreciation for Raffi & Bellaetrix's Resistance

The resistance put up by Raffi and Bellaetrix was also acknowledged by Ziva as very challenging. She felt that the placement of the opponent's shots was often unpredictable, making it difficult for her to return the shuttlecock effectively.

"Maybe because of their shot placements, I found it more, more what, it felt more difficult to get the shuttlecock, because it was unpredictable," Ziva explained.

The tension was not only felt by Ziva. Mohammad Ahsan also admitted to feeling nervous at the beginning of the match. However, his experience as a world athlete helped him regain his composure and turn the situation around.

"Thank God we could bounce back in the second and third games, that's the most important thing," concluded Mohammad Ahsan.
