The contestant's full name, Asna Kirani, performed solo singing a song titled Datang Untuk Pergi. Unfortunately, Nana's performance did not receive a Standing Ovation or SO from all the judges. Soimah, Lesti, and Wika Salim actually provided many notes on Nana's performance.

Each judge gave constructive criticism to Nana. For your information, previously, Nana's performance when she appeared in a trio with Fakhri & Sakhi received praise from the judges.

"But that is indeed one of my notes. The placement of the improv at the ending. So focus on the high part at the end. A few days ago I commented. So be careful. Even if there is a little improv, it's okay as long as there is a gong. Don't let there be some places where there is no gong. So just save it for later. If there are improv ideas, save and apply them later. The important thing is that in that song there is already a gong, it can be a little but luxurious, I think that is already valid. Also a little on the tempo. A bit soft, but earlier it wasn't too disturbing. It was disturbed because of the improv earlier. It actually became disturbing," said Soimah.

1. Lack of Preparation

Nana admitted that she was a bit nervous during her solo performance. She confessed that she only practiced for one day before performing. Lesti Kejora, the champion of D'Academy season one, immediately responded to Nana's statement. According to Lesti, the lack of preparation due to a tight schedule during the competition cannot be an excuse.

"Honestly, I was a bit nervous for tonight's performance. Maybe because I only had a short practice time, just one day, I still lacked preparation," said Nana.

"All the contestants are like that too. So in a competition, we can be challenged on stage. So you need to prepare your mentality, okay darling? Your spirit is beautiful. Your voice is also good, you have to be confident," Lesti Kejora immediately responded.

2. Wika Salim Highlights Mental Aspect

In line with Lesti Kejora, Wika Salim stated that mentality is the key in competition. According to her, Nana has more than enough potential to shine as a dangdut star on stage. This was also reaffirmed by Lesti Kejora.

"That's why, actually, what is not optimal is due to a lack of mental readiness for competition, darling. So indeed, in competitions, everyone here is already good, it just depends on who learns the fastest and the hardest. And sometimes, usually, at the beginning, they are just average but learn the fastest. That can make them rise even higher later on, for Nana, you have to stay motivated, darling, because this is an opportunity for you. Nana already has all the potential. It's more than enough, just needs to be honed further," said Wika Salim.

"Nana, I already told you, you are beautiful, your voice is good, and you are supported by a very beautiful face. There's no more story about you lacking confidence; you have to be ready, you have to be quick. Especially since your coach is Melly, if you want to learn vocal techniques, dynamics, or improvisation, the knowledge will definitely be passed down to you," concluded Lesti Kejora.

Criticism and suggestions from the judges serve as notes for Nana, who is now looking towards the next round after being declared passed from Group 3 Top 42.
