Keysha Belitung Timur is Committed to Show the Best, Results Come Later

"God willing, I am confident that if we really try and give our best, the issue of passing or not passing can come later," said Keysha when met at the Emtek Indosiar Studio on Wednesday (15/7/2026).

Keysha expressed her gratitude for making it to the top 42. She admitted that she has memorized many songs in preparation for her upcoming performances. Facing the increasingly tight competition, she is committed to maintaining her physical condition with a better lifestyle.

"Maybe by keeping a regular sleep schedule, watching my diet, and continuing to memorize songs," she explained.

1. First Impressions of Being Trained by Coach Selfi Yamma

Her presence in Selfi Yamma's team has indeed complemented Keysha's extraordinary journey on the D'Academy stage. From the beginning of the competition, she admitted that she wanted to be in the team mentored by Selfi Yamma. And now, her wish has officially come true.

"I am very happy because I really wanted to join Kak Selfi's team from the start," said Keysha.

After gathering and joining the team, Keysha shared her first impression of her mentor. She said that Selfi is a caring and attentive mentor.

2. Advancing to the Next Round with Quick Preparation

A big challenge immediately approached after the group division was announced at the Welcome Top 42 Concert. Keysha was placed in Group 1 of Selfi Yamma's team, so she didn't have much time to prepare for her performance in the top 42 round. Just one day after the welcome concert, Keysha recounted that she and her teammates in group 1 had to start their rehearsal sessions right away.

"So after the group division night, the next day I immediately started rehearsing," said Keysha.

Although the preparation time was quite tight, Keysha mentioned that she had utilized that short time very focused to prepare for her performance.

It proved that her efforts paid off sweetly. Keysha was declared to have advanced to the next round after her solo performance of Zapin Melayu.
