Rama has a very strong motivation behind his participation in this prestigious competition. He admitted that he wants to use his singing talent as a way to make his parents happy and provide a better life for his family. "Because I want to make my parents happy, I really want to join this DA, I want to fight for my parents," said Rama when met at the Emtek Indosiar Studio, West Jakarta, Monday (8/7).

1. A Challenging Journey on the Audition Stage

Rama's journey to the top 53 was not easy and filled with struggles. He had to travel all the way from Cirebon with his parents, facing long lines and waiting for hours before getting the golden opportunity to perform in front of the judges.

This 15-year-old teenager shared his exhausting audition experience. "The journey may have started from home with my parents driving me until I waited for 4 hours," he revealed. That long wait bore silent witness to Rama's strong determination to prove his abilities in front of the judging panel, which included Wika Salim, Dewi Perssik, and Soimah at that time.

Rama performed two popular songs, namely 'Pandangan Pertama' and 'Sonia'. His heartfelt performance and impressive vocal quality successfully convinced the judges, and in the end, his name was announced as a contestant who is entitled to continue his journey in Dangdut Academy 8 and immediately secured a spot.

2. Hope and Belief in Achieving Dreams

After successfully passing, Rama could not hide his deep gratitude. He hopes this achievement will be a good start to continue moving forward until the final round. "Alhamdulillah, I am very grateful. Bismillah, hopefully, I will reach the championship, Amen," said Rama.

Although he realizes that the competition in Dangdut Academy 8 will become increasingly fierce in each round, Rama continues to show high self-confidence. He believes he can deliver his best performance and keep enduring in the competition. "Bismillah, 100% confident," he asserted, displaying a burning fighting spirit.

However, Rama has also prepared himself for all possibilities. He is not only focused on winning but also has a backup plan in case his journey must stop midway. "Maybe helping my parents too, like assisting them and continuing to learn to sing again," he concluded, emphasizing his commitment to remain devoted to his parents and continue honing his singing talent.
