Although he has only been learning dangdut for a relatively short time, Kadhafy was able to prove his ability by making it to the Top 53 of Dangdut Academy 8. This achievement was even beyond his expectations.
"Alhamdulillah, I am very grateful, I didn't expect it because I just started learning dangdut songs since Valen came along. So I tried, who knows it might be my fortune, Alhamdulillah I passed this stage," he expressed.
2. Optimistic to Give His Best Performance
His success in getting this far has made Kadhafy more confident in facing competition with other contestants. He is optimistic that he can deliver his best performance when appearing before the judges.
"Insya Allah, I am 100% sure," he said.
3. Feedback from the Judges
However, Kadhafy realizes that he still has several shortcomings that need to be addressed. He admitted to receiving feedback from the judges when he received the golden ticket, especially regarding articulation and stage performance.
"Well, during the golden ticket performance, I had issues with articulation. That's the shortcoming, articulation and maybe style," he explained.
