Iko Uwais Indicates Audy Item Will Undergo Caesarean Operation Again in Her Third Pregnancy

Audy Item's third pregnancy has been enthusiastically welcomed by all family members, including Iko Uwais and Audy's two daughters, Atreya and Aneska. According to Iko, both have long desired the presence of a younger sibling.

Aneska, who has been the youngest child, is said to be very excited because she will have a new friend at home. Similarly, Atreya is also welcoming the happy news.

"Atreya seems to be waiting for it too. So they, they are quite excited about the arrival of their sibling. As for the second one, it's like, 'yes'. Because she needs a friend," said Iko Uwais when met in the Gelora Bung Karno area on Monday (6/7/2026).

Iko believes that the significant age gap is actually an advantage. According to him, his two daughters are now mature enough to understand their mother's condition and also help take care of the pregnancy.

"What I also think is that Atreya is already 13 years old, Aneska is 8 years old, so the age gap is quite significant. And for Audy, I am still enthusiastic about it," he explained.

Regarding the delivery process, Iko hinted that a cesarean section might again be the option. Besides the age factor, this decision also considers Audy's previous delivery history.

"At this age, it seems risky for a normal delivery, even though we actually prefer both to be cesarean, with no normal delivery. Indeed, the first time Audy had vertigo, and the second time the baby was large and there was bleeding as well," he said.

Even so, Iko admitted that he has no specific hopes regarding the gender of his third child. For him, the health of the mother and baby is the most important.

"What matters is whatever was said about the gender, be sincere, not expecting too much, the important thing is that both the baby and the mother are healthy. Because the most important thing for me is that both are healthy, that's all that really matters," concluded Iko.
