Kapanlagi.com - Anisa Syakila's journey to the stage of Dangdut Academy 8 was not smooth. The contestant from Ogan Komering Ilir, South Sumatra, had previously failed to participate in the last season of D'Academy because she did not meet the age requirement.
Although she had to postpone her dream, Anisa chose to continue practicing while waiting for another opportunity to come.
"I had auditioned for DA 7, but because I was not old enough at that time, I was still young," Anisa said when met at Studio 5 Emtek City, West Jakarta, on Friday (3/7/2026).

That patience finally paid off. In Dangdut Academy 8, Anisa successfully advanced to the Final Audition and considers this achievement as proof that her efforts were not in vain.
"I really want to prove that I can do it, insyaallah. Now, alhamdulillah, even though I am still at this stage, I am very grateful," she expressed.
In addition to wanting to develop a career in the dangdut music world, Anisa also has the determination to make her parents happy and realize her dream of becoming an artist.
"First, I want to make my parents happy, and I also want to fulfill their wishes, and I want to be an artist," she said.
Anisa also expressed her gratitude for getting a second chance to participate in the Dangdut Academy. She promised to continue learning so she can advance further in the competition.
"Alhamdulillah I was selected, I am very grateful. Thank you also to Indosiar for accepting me at this stage," she concluded.
