1. Kani's Motivation to Join Dangdut Academy
Kani's biggest motivation for joining Dangdut Academy is to make her parents proud. In addition, she also wants to develop her singing talent that she has been pursuing since childhood.
"Actually, I have a lot of motivations, but one of the main ones is that I want to make my parents proud; that's the most important thing. Secondly, I also want to develop my talent that I really love," she expressed.
Kani admitted that she felt nervous during the audition. However, that nervousness turned into happiness when her name was announced as having passed and received the Golden Ticket.
"During the audition, I was really nervous, but when I got the Golden Ticket, I was super duper happy," she said.
2. Preparation and Self-Evaluation
Kani stated that she is ready to accept any outcome from the Final Audition and will continue to evaluate herself to become a better singer. "I will evaluate myself first, Kak. I want to ask myself what my shortcomings are," she concluded.
Unfortunately, Kani's journey had to stop in Group 4 during the Final Audition. Group 4 of the Final Audition consisted of six participants: Anisa (Ogan Komering Ilir), Bintang (Kep. Bangka Belitung), Mela (Bandung), Melani (Sidrap), Sahwan (Sampang), and Syafiq (Nunukan).
