When met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Monday (22/4), Rita Sugiarto stated that she is currently preparing her new work.
"Inshaallah, I am currently preparing and waiting for a new song that is suitable for me," said Rita Sugiarto.
When asked further, Rita admitted that she has always been selective in choosing the songs she will sing.
"Since the beginning, when it comes to songs, I always choose the ones that truly make me fall in love with them," she said.
Meanwhile, when it comes to music, Rita Sugiarto stated that she is quite flexible as long as it supports her vocal character.
"It's okay, because dangdut music is flexible as long as the harmonization is good," she explained.
"When it comes to vocals, I make sure they match my character but I still learn techniques to bring something different," she concluded.
Rita Sugiarto, whose real name is Derita Kismiarti, began her career in the music industry in 1972. Until now, Rita has produced dozens of albums and hundreds of songs.
