Business T-shirts Were Once Helped by Didi Kempot for Free, Kaesang Reveals His Biggest Regret

Kapanlagi.com - Throughout his life, Didi Kempot was known as someone who never hesitated to share or calculate with others. Including with Kaesang Pangarep, the youngest son of President Jokowi who had collaborated with the owner of the song Sewu Kutho.

Kaesang revealed this in his tweet on Twitter shortly after Didi passed away. It turns out they had collaborated in the clothing business and Didi didn't want to take any royalties from Kaesang.

1. Didi Doesn't Ask for Royalties

Didi's kindness is evident from Kaesang's post. Although it was the President's son who invited him to collaborate and the collaboration would be commercialized, Didi doesn't ask for any royalties.

"The Godfather of Broken Heart left a personal impression on me. My company asked for his permission to produce t-shirts with his image and he didn't ask for a single penny in royalties. Instead, he asked us to hurry up with the production so he could wear them too.

2. Kaesang's Regret

Didi Kempot's sudden departure deeply regrets Kaesang. He hadn't had the chance to fulfill the request of the maestro of campursari music before he passed away.

"One of my regrets at that time was being invited to a video call with him, but due to busy tasks and exams, I couldn't do it," wrote Kaesang.

3. Kaesang Expresses Gratitude

Kaesang also thanked Didi for supporting local products. As fellow Solo residents, Didi did not charge any fee for using his name and face on Kaesang's t-shirt products.

"Thank you for supporting Solo's local brand, The Godfather of Broken Heart," wrote Kaesang.

4. Buried in Ngawi

Now Didi has peacefully rested. He was buried in Ngawi City yesterday, Tuesday (5/5). Didi was laid to rest right next to the grave of his eldest child who passed away at the age of 6 months.

The singer passed away at the age of 53 after suffering a heart attack. Farewell, Didi, your works and kindness will always be remembered.
