Inul Daratista Chooses to Be Private Instead of Partying on Wedding Anniversary: More Enjoyable with Just Her Husband

The 30th wedding anniversary moment for Inul Daratista and Adam Suseno is interpreted differently than most other celebrity couples. Instead of holding a grand party or making glamorous posts on social media, Inul prefers to enjoy the moment privately with her husband.

The dangdut singer known for her energetic dance stated that at this mature stage of their marriage, she feels more comfortable celebrating in a calm and intimate way. In fact, she avoids crowds and chooses to spend the moment alone together.

"Yes, I prefer not to be in a crowd. Parties are not my style either. For birthdays, sometimes we just have dinner together. It's more enjoyable, we can talk a lot," said Inul when met in the Mampang area, South Jakarta.

Inul explained that in the current situation, she feels more grateful to have quiet time with her partner rather than excessive celebrations. Spending time together has become the best way for them to reflect on their relationship over the past 30 years.

"Yes, sometimes I tell Mas Adam, 'Alright, let's not be in a crowd, let's just go somewhere together, where no one needs to know, as long as we can talk.' That's already more than enough," she added.

As a couple known for their harmony, Inul believes that intimacy in a marriage does not always have to be shown to the public. The happiness and closeness felt behind the scenes are much more important to her.

"Sometimes people want to show off, they want to be seen as happy. But I feel happier when I can talk heart to heart. It's just me and Mas Adam, no one else, that's more priceless for me," said Inul.

Adam Suseno, who has accompanied Inul for three decades, also supports his wife's choices. He feels that small, simple moments actually leave a deep impression and strengthen their relationship.

"Yes, what matters is that we are both healthy, can talk, and laugh. It doesn't have to be with a crowd, what's important is that we know we love each other, and that's enough," Adam said casually.

Inul also conveyed that she has learned a lot during her time as a wife. One important lesson she holds is to maintain communication with her partner in any condition.

"Sometimes we just sit in silence together, but we understand each other. That’s what I’m grateful for, Mas Adam really understands me. And I also learn to understand him, even though I can be a bit talkative," said Inul with a laugh.
