Her debut performance on the Top 42 Group 1 stage captivated the jury, earning her two Standing Ovations (SO) from judges Lesti Kejora and Nassar.

Kira's success has propelled her to advance to the next round in this prestigious competition. This moment serves as proof for Kira of her talent and hard work in front of the judges and loyal Indosiar viewers.

Judge Nassar even openly expressed his admiration. “Kira, I really like you, because you can do more than just slow songs, you’ve proven that you can also sing upbeat songs with high notes. While dancing, you can do it all. This means others should try like Kira,” Nassar stated.

1. The Stunning Performance of Team Selfi Yamma

Kira's stunning performance took place on Wednesday, July 15, during the Top 42 Group 1 Dangdut Academy 8 event. That night, Kira was part of the team coached by D'Coach Selfi Yamma.

In that group, Kira was not alone. She was accompanied by seniors from the alumni of Dangdut Academy 7, namely April and Mila Nurwanti, who also provided support.

The live broadcast event was hosted by a lineup of famous hosts, including Ramzi, Gilang Dirga, Rina Nose, Rizky Billar, Jirayut, and Andi Syakirah. Meanwhile, the panel of judges who evaluated the performances of the participants included Soimah, Nassar, and Lesti Kejora.

2. Praise and Feedback from the Judges

Kira's performance on stage not only received a Standing Ovation but also a flood of praise and valuable feedback from the judges. Soimah, one of the judges, admitted to being a fan of Kira's vocal style.

“Kira, I am one of your fans. I love your vocals; they are sexy. And your body language earlier was also nice to watch. Your expressions were great. The movement of your body language was also good. And, well, you have tried to convey the song well. The emotion you showed, especially the rock part, was also nice. Just a little feedback: don’t push it too hard from the start. At the beginning, it could be a bit prettier, so it doesn’t feel angry right away. That’s my only feedback. Other than that, I’m okay with you,” said Soimah, giving appreciation along with constructive advice.

Lesti Kejora also praised Kira's ability to deliver the song. “Kira, you sang this song clearly and loudly. It was assertive. According to the content of the song, you were able to convey it well,” said Lesti.

3. Journey to Advance to the Next Round

Kira from Bandung successfully secured her position to advance to the next round in the Dangdut Academy 8 competition. She became one of six contestants who were declared to have passed from Group 1 Top 42.

Together with Kira, other contestants who also managed to advance are Ari (Sampang), Cendi (Maumere), Idoy (Medan), Keysha (Belitung Timur), and Melani (Sidrap). Unfortunately, Andrean from Palembang had to end his journey on the Dangdut Academy 8 stage after being declared eliminated that night.

With this result, Kira and her five companions will continue their struggle to achieve the title of champion of Dangdut Academy 8.
