Murama Makes the Judges Shiver at Dangdut Academy 8, Achieves 3 SO from Dewi Perssik, Lesti, and Soimah

Kapanlagi.com - Murama once again proves his quality on the stage of the Final Audition of Dangdut Academy 8. Performing the song Pestamu Dukaku, the contestant from Sijunjung successfully captivated the judges, earning three Standing Ovations from Dewi Perssik, Lesti Kejora, and Soimah.

Before the performance, Coach Fildan had already given a hint about Murama's appearance. According to him, the song is quite difficult, but Murama managed to interpret it with a distinctive singing style.

"Murama will sing 'Pestamu Dukaku'. This is also one of the heavier songs. But with Murama's ability during rehearsals, he thankfully delivered some vocal nuances that I think are really cool. And in that song, he becomes his true self," said Fildan.

1. Dewi Perssik Can't Stop Praising

After the performance ended, Dewi Perssik immediately showered praise. The singer, affectionately known as Mami Depe, even admitted she got goosebumps because Murama performed almost flawlessly.

"This feels like a final for me, because of the voice. The singing, you didn't miss a note at all. It was just right, I... oh, I got goosebumps," said Dewi Perssik.

Hearing the praise, Fildan revealed one of Murama's strengths that might not be widely known. During rehearsals, Murama was said to be brave enough to create her own vocal embellishments. According to Fildan, the only thing that still needs to be polished is her expression on stage to boost her confidence.

"Murama has created several embellishments on her own... I always whisper to her about 'the expression', try to make sure if there are cool improvements, her body is more confident," said Fildan.

When asked how she found those embellishments, Murama admitted that she learned everything autodidactically. She intentionally wanted to give 'Pestamu Dukaku' a new color when she performed it.

"The song 'Pesta Dukaku' is rarely performed in LIDA or DA. So I want to make this song my own. So I explored this song," said Murama.

2. Lesti Calls Murama a Complete Package

Equally impressed, Lesti Kejora referred to Murama as a contestant with a complete package. Not only is her vocal ability captivating, but her demeanor and presence on stage are also remarkable.

"Murama, don’t you know that seeing you sing here is so refreshing? Because you are perfect, you are flawless. Your face is beautiful, polite. Your attitude is not just your own attitude. You are already good. But your attitude on stage is also excellent. Truly. So, it's a complete package," praised Lesti.

Meanwhile, Soimah expressed her joy at finally being able to hear the song 'Pestamu Dukaku' performed on the D'Academy stage. According to her, Murama successfully brought a new vibe through that song.

"Everything was great. There’s nothing more I need to discuss. And I’m so happy. Finally, I get to hear the song 'Pestamu Dukaku'. It seems like it’s the first time for this song and it was very impressive. Especially since you performed it so well. So that song feels like something new again," said Soimah.

Thanks to her captivating performance and creativity in interpreting the song, Murama successfully closed her performance with three Standing Ovations. This performance also reinforced her position as one of the most attention-grabbing contestants in the Final Audition of D'Academy 8.
