Being in the same frame with a comedian like Indro is a challenge for Desy. Because when she is required to act seriously, she ends up laughing at her co-star's face, which is considered innocent.

"The main challenge for me is to fight the urge to laugh when acting with Mas Indro. Because when I see his face, Allahu Akbar, I feel like laughing even though I have to be serious. His face is so innocent. Moreover, there are many scenes where I have to cry," said Desy to the media via Zoom, on Tuesday (18/8/2020).

The character of Marni, played by Desy Ratnasari, is the opposite of her real-life self. Marni is portrayed as a dedicated housewife, while Desy herself is a career woman.

"The character of Marni is different from Desy Ratnasari, who is a career woman. She is purely a housewife who takes care of the house, husband, and children. She is one hundred percent dedicated to household chores. Because I rarely do comedy dramas, usually it's pure drama, I fell in love with the script," said this Sundanese woman.

2. Experiencing a Complete Family

Apart from the storyline, another reason why Desy Ratnasari is happy to be involved in Rako Prijanto's film is that she can experience life in a complete family. As it is known, Desy has been a single mother for several years.

"Playing Marni, I feel like I have a complete family again because in real life I don't have one. So Allah gave me the opportunity to enjoy having a complete family in a film," she concluded.
