Kapanlagi.com - After months of uncertainty, the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, announced that the cinema entertainment business will soon be opened. Although the exact date has not been mentioned, this is a breath of fresh air for exhibitors and players in the film industry.
"This morning we discussed together about the plan to open cinema activities in the province of DKI Jakarta. There are several things that we will emphasize. First of all, we will prepare complete regulations and those regulations will include several elements," said Anies as quoted during a live press conference on the BNBP Indonesia Youtube account, Wednesday (26/8/2020).
Spokesperson for the COVID-19 Task Force, Wiku Adisasmito, said that the regulations include age restrictions, emphasizing that individuals must be above 12 years old and below 60 years old. Prospective viewers are also required to be in good health and have no underlying diseases.
"Considering the risk factors, we recommend that those who come are individuals above 12 years old and below 60 years old, and do not have any underlying diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, lung disease, kidney disease, and other immune-related diseases," said Wiku.
"In addition, (viewers) must be in good health and have no symptoms such as cough, fever above 38° Celsius, sore throat, runny nose or flu, sneezing, and shortness of breath. This must be implemented with strict protocols," he added.

Not only that, while in the cinema, prospective viewers must wear masks and sit at a safe distance. They are also not allowed to eat or drink as they used to.
"While watching, eating and drinking are not allowed, and always wear a mask from the beginning until the end of the film. Of course, the time limit inside the cinema should not exceed two hours. And the distance between seats is also maintained properly to ensure no contact between visitors and staff on duty," said Wiku.
