As the husband of Nadine Chandrawinata, playing one of the legendary figures of Indonesian comedy is not easy. He felt the moral pressure during the filming process.
"There is definitely pressure. Because we all carry the big name of Srimulat with legendary characters. When it's set, the pressure is felt," said Dimas Anggara when met at the release of the poster and teaser for the movie SRIMULAT: HIL YANG MUSTAHAL, Friday (22/4/2022).

As an actor, being trusted to portray a legendary comedian character has become a challenge for Dimas to showcase his acting ability to the fullest.
"Preparation for this film started from scratch. The reading session was like an empty egg waiting to be filled by the director," said Dimas Anggara.
Not only Dimas Anggara, but Bio One who played the character Gepeng also felt the moral burden. He admitted that he had to conduct special research to approach the character he played.
"So, it's automatically a burden. So, what needs to be done is to approach this character as seriously as possible. From changing the physical appearance to the way of speaking," he said.
In addition to Dimas Anggara and Bio One, this film produced by MNC Pictures and IDN Pictures also stars Ibnu Jamil who plays Tarzan, Teuku Rifnu Wakana (Asmuni), Erick Estrada (Asmuni), Elang El Gibran (Basuki), Morgan Oey (Paul), Zulfa Maharani (Nunung), and many more.
The film, which tells the story of Srimulat's career rising to be able to perform on television, is divided into two parts.
For the first part, SRIMULAT: HIL YANG MUSTAHAL is planned to be released in Indonesian cinemas on May 19, 2022.
