Fadi Alaydrus and Saskia Chadwick Star in Religious Drama Film 'TAK KENAL MAKA TAARUF'

Kapanlagi.com - Another religious drama film is about to be made. This time it is titled TAK KENAL MAKA TAARUF which is adapted from a novel of the same title by a writer named Mim Yudiarto.

Before the shooting process, the film directed by Toma Margens revealed the cast. They are Saskia Chadwick as Zoya and Fadi Alaydrus as Faris. Dinda Mahira also plays a character named Cleo.

1. A Father's Anxiety for His Child

The novel Tal Kenal Maka Taaruf highlights the hustle and bustle of today's teenage world. Collaborating with the anxiety felt as a father, producer Wahyudi became interested in adapting it into a film.

"Everyone involved in this film has children or families whose future needs to be taken care of. Our concern about dangerous socializing, excessive interaction between opposite sexes, prompted us to make a film as a father's attention to his child," said Wahyudi, quoted from a text message received by KapanLagi.com on Monday (15/7/2024).

2. Not Like Buying a Cat in a Bag

Mim Yudiarto, as the writer and also the producer, deliberately raised the theme of taaruf in his work. Because through the novel and then the film, it can convey a message of goodness that motivates today's young people.

"Taaruf is not a difficult magical thing to do, nor is it impossible to continue. There is already a procedure that contains the elements of PDCA, which are Plan, Do, Check, and Action. So it is not true that taaruf is like buying a cat in a bag," said Mim.

"Through this film, we want to introduce good socializing methods to obtain a life destiny," concluded Wahyudi.
