Fadi Alaydrus and Saskia Chadwick Star in the Religious Drama Film 'TAK KENAL MAKA TAARUF'

Kapanlagi.com - Another religious drama film will soon be made. This time titled TAK KENAL MAKA TAARUF, adapted from a novel of the same name by a writer named Mim Yudiarto.

As the shooting process approaches, this film directed by Toma Margens reveals its cast. They are Saskia Chadwick as Zoya and Fadi Alaydrus as Faris. Not to forget, Dinda Mahira plays a character named Cleo.

1. A Father's Anxiety About His Child

The novel Tal Kenal Maka Taaruf highlights the hustle and bustle of today's youth world. Because it resonates with the anxiety felt as a father, Wahyudi as the producer is interested in adapting it into a film.

"Everyone involved in this film has children or family whose future needs to be considered. Our concern about dangerous social interactions and overly free interactions between the opposite sex has led us to make this film as a form of a father's concern for his child," said Wahyudi, quoted from a text message received by KapanLagi.com on Monday (15/7/2024).

2. Not Like Buying a Cat in a Sack

Mim Yudiarto as the writer and also producer intentionally raised the theme of taaruf in his work. Because through the novel and then the film, it can spread a message of goodness that motivates today's youth.

"Taaruf is not a magical thing that is difficult to do, nor is it impossible to be carried out. There are already procedures that contain the PDCA elements which are Plan, Do, Check and Action. So it is not true that taaruf is like buying a cat in a sack," said Mim.

"Through this film, we want to introduce a good way of socializing to achieve life's destiny," concluded Wahyudi.
