Moved from Jakarta to Bali, Morgan Oey Becomes a Tattoo Artist Who Doesn't Believe in Love in 'ROMEO INGKAR JANJI'

Kapanlagi.com - Actor Morgan Oey is also involved in a film titled 'ROMEO INGKAR JANJI'. In this film, he plays a character named Romeo, a young man from Jakarta who moves to Bali to become a tattoo artist.

"Romeo is a migrant from Jakarta, moved to Bali because he wants to pursue his passion as a tattoo artist," said Morgan at the KLY office in Central Jakarta, Friday (12/7/2024).

Morgan added, Romeo escaped from his traumatic past and tried to start a new life in Bali.

"He also somehow wanted to leave Jakarta because he had a traumatic experience in his past," he said.

2. Not Believing in Love

Despite having commitment and passion, Romeo does not believe in love because of his previous bad experience.

"And he wants to start fresh in Bali, he is committed, but he does not believe in love because of the traumatic issues that happened before," said Morgan.

3. Character Deepening

To deepen Romeo's character, Morgan had many discussions with the producers and directors of the film 'ROMEO INGKAR JANJI'.

"Yes, I searched for it myself, talked with Mas Emil and the producers, with Uncle Jeremy Thomas, with Aunt Ina, and so on," he said.

"The point of view is more about wanting to know me as an actor, wanting to know Romeo from there," he concluded.

4. Showing in Theaters

The film 'ROMEO INGKAR JANJI' is produced by Adhya Pictures and Creative Power Management. This film is scheduled to be released on July 25, 2024.
