Famous Thai Stars Mario Maurer and Davika Hoorne Will Come to Jakarta to Watch the Film 'KANG MAK' Remake of 'PEE MAK'

Kapanlagi.com - Production house Falcon Pictures is recycling the successful Thai horror comedy film titled PEE MAK. The Indonesian version is titled KANG MAK, starring the couple Vino G Bastian and Marsha Timothy.

KANG MAK will be released in cinemas throughout Indonesia starting August 15, 2024. At the gala premiere screening, Falcon Pictures will bring the original PEE MAK cast, Mario Maurer and Davika Hoorne, as well as director Banjong Pisanthanakun.

"Because the process of this film was so exciting, we finally came up with the idea of inviting Thai actors and directors to come to Jakarta. They will attend the gala premiere," said Frederica, the producer from Falcon Pictures, during a press conference in Duren Tiga, South Jakarta (18/7/2024).

When Falcon Pictures invited Mario Maurer, Davika Hoorne, and Banjong Pisanthanakun, they immediately responded quickly. Apparently, they were enthusiastic because KANG MAK is the first remake of PEE MAK in the world.

"They welcomed it, Banjong, Davika, and Mario were very excited. We were also surprised because we received feedback from them so quickly. Because indeed, KANG MAK is the first remake of PEE MAK," said Frederica.

2. Three Days in Jakarta

Mario Maurer, Davika Hoorne, and director Banjong Pisanthanakun will be in Jakarta for three days. They will also help promote the film KANG MAK.

"They will arrive on August 2nd until August 4th. They will be in Jakarta for three days to liven up the promotion of KANG MAK in Indonesia," said Erica.
