Fighting in Gowns and High Heels, Aghniny Haque Reveals Her Action-Packed Role in 'MENCURI RADEN SALEH' Movie

Kapanlagi.com - Aghniny Haque is one of the cast members of Angga Dwimas Sasongko's film MENCURI RADEN SALEH. In this action heist genre, she plays the character named Sarah who is skilled in fighting.

Interestingly, Sarah's character portrayed by Aghniny Haque has a love interest named Piko. Piko is a student who has the ability to replicate paintings played by actor Iqbaal Ramadhan.

Aghniny Haque has been involved in several films directed by Angga Dwimas Sasongko. However, her role in this movie is different, and she was challenged to bring it to life on screen.

"When I was first approached and shown the character, I fell in love with it immediately. Sarah is very different from my previous film characters, and her character develops from the beginning to the end of the film. I think it's a challenge for an actor," said Aghniny when met at Metropole XXI, Megaria, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday (29/6).

In the movie MENCURI RADEN SALEH, Aghniny Haque has several fighting scenes. One of them she particularly likes and is confident it will be the highlight when watched by the audience.

"I think the character is iconic, there's a scene where I fight in a dress and high heels. It's challenging and complicated, but I'm proud and happy because the dress was made by a famous designer in Indonesia. I have to seize this moment because I'm sure it will be popular," said the former Taekwondo athlete.

3. Training for One Month

For the scene of fighting while wearing a dress and high heels, Aghniny Haque underwent one month of training. Of course, the training was not ordinary because she had to get used to moving while wearing high heels.

"I have a fighting scene with guys. The training is for a month and during the training, it's not just choreography or physical, but also with high heels. Fighting without heels is already difficult, let alone with heels," she said.
