Starring in 'NAGA NAGA NAGA' Movie, Beby Tsabina Struggles to Play a Tomboy Girl

Kapanlagi.com - After being delayed for two years due to the pandemic, the movie NAGA NAGA NAGA has finally been released in theaters throughout Indonesia. In the latest sequel of the NAGABONAR franchise, young star Beby Tsabina is involved in playing the character named Monaga.

Monaga is a new character created specifically for this third movie. She is the only daughter of the couple Bonaga (played by Tora Sudiro) and Monita (played by Wulan Guritno), and also the beloved granddaughter of Nagabonar (played by Deddy Mizwar).

1. Prefers Make Up

Monaga's character is described as a tomboy girl who is lazy to go to school and likes playing soccer. To play the character, Beby Tsabina admits to having difficulty because it is very different from her real self.

"The role of Monaga is really difficult, I never play soccer, but I have to make it look like I am a tomboy. Even though in reality, I prefer make up to playing soccer," said Beby when met at Epicentrum XXI, Rasuna Said area, South Jakarta, last week.

2. Acting Together with Deddy Mizwar

Although the role she received was challenging enough to make her practice soccer, Beby Tsabina admitted to being happy to be involved in NAGA NAGA NAGA. Because finally she could compete roles with senior actor Deddy Mizwar who became a role model in acting.

"This is an opportunity that makes me want to give my best. I do what I can and keep learning. I also ask questions to Mr. Deddy, he is also not stingy with knowledge and very kind. So, I am very grateful," explained the former girlfriend of Bio One.

3. Monaga Doesn't Want to Go to School

NAGA NAGA NAGA is a sequel to NAGABONAR (1986) and NAGABONAR JADI 2 (2007). Highlighting the figure of Monaga, a tomboy girl who refuses to go to school after being expelled for a certain reason.

As a mother, Monita wants Monaga to get the best education. However, a strong determination not to go to school, plus the support of Nagabonar, makes the situation even more complicated. What happens next? Watch it in theaters starting June 16, 2022!
