The official trailer shows PENJAGAL IBLIS: DOSA TURUNAN as a thrilling horror story featuring an intense battle between Ningrum and Pakunjara. The presence of Pakunjara poses a threat to the community as a series of murders targets the hearts of religious leaders. The official trailer also depicts the investigation of a journalist named Daru in uncovering the mastermind behind the mysterious serial killings.
A family is brutally murdered while performing ruqyah on their possessed child. The only survivor is the Ustad who conducted the ruqyah. The murderer is Ningrum (Satine Zaneta), a 19-year-old girl who is detained in a psychiatric hospital for suspected delusions. Daru (Marthino Lio), a journalist, is assigned to cover the case. During the interview, Ningrum admitted that she is a Devil Slayer who entered the world, and the family is made up of Devils used by Pakunjara (Niken Anjani) to resurrect the Leader of the Devil Worshippers.
The battle between Ningrum, the Devil Slayer, and Pakunjara, the Devil Worshipper, is inevitable. Daru, who is caught in the middle of this situation, has no choice but to help Ningrum face Pakunjara and the Devils that she will resurrect.
The film DEVIL SLAYER: INHERITED SIN stars Satine Zaneta, Marthino Lio, Niken Anjani, and Kiki Narendra. This film will be released on April 30, 2025, in Indonesian cinema networks. Produced by Wicky V. Olindo, this film marks the second feature film by Tommy Dewo, who had a successful debut last year and achieved blockbuster status. Previously, Tommy also successfully directed the hit series "The Last Wolf". Sunil G. Samtani, Sunar Samtani, and Adi Sumarjono serve as executive producers for this film.

Director Tommy Dewo added that PENJAGAL IBLIS: DOSA TURUNAN will bring investigative elements into the supernatural world, creating unprecedented tension. Additionally, this film will feature a character named Ningrum, a woman who becomes a tough, mysterious figure full of secrets, making the film even more intriguing. "The film PENJAGAL IBLIS: DOSA TURUNAN explores myths, curses, and rituals that we may not have heard much about or at all. We conducted research on various local mythologies, black magic, and mysterious phenomena believed in Indonesian culture to create a realistic and chilling world," said director Tommy Dewo of PENJAGAL IBLIS: DOSA TURUNAN.
Meanwhile, Satine Zaneta, who plays Ningrum, revealed that the character she portrays has a distinct difference. If in Indonesian horror genres women are often victims, in this film, Ningrum is portrayed as a kind of 'hero.' PENJAGAL IBLIS: DOSA TURUNAN also marks Satine Zaneta's horror debut.
"Ningrum is a complex character. "She not only has to face physical dangers, but also has to confront dark secrets that threaten her soul," said Satine Zaneta about her role as Ningrum.
