Kapanlagi.com - Producer Mira Lesmana officially announced the production of PETUALANGAN SHERINA 2 with Riri Riza sitting in the director's chair. She also brings back two main stars, Sherina Munaf and Derby Romero, to continue their roles as Sherina and Sadam.

Sherina admits that she is happy but also nervous that the making of this sequel is finally announced. Because for a long time, many questions have been asked on her social media.

"I feel nervous because it has been announced. So we have to work on this a hundred percent. Two hundred percent if possible. I'm very excited because my friends on Twitter and Instagram have been guessing and waiting. I'm also nervous, but I can't wait to create something that can make people happy," said Sherina when contacted by phone, Friday (30/10/2020).

1. Becoming a Composer and Music Arranger

Not only being the main cast in its sequel, Sherina Munaf also joined as a core crew of PETUALANGAN SHERINA 2. She acted as a composer for the original soundtrack and became a music arranger replacing the position once held by the late Elfa Secioria.

"Most of the crew are from the first film. But what's interesting is that there are two young people in the core crew. The first one is Sherina herself, besides being an actress she also becomes a composer and music arranger for PETUALANGAN SHERINA 2. She replaces the position of her late mentor, Elfa Secioria. Sherina has finished her songs and they are great. Now we are waiting for the final stage of recording preparation," said Mira Lesmana during a virtual conference session via Zoom.

2. Involvement of Sherina Munaf's Sister

In addition to Sherina, Virania Munaf, who is none other than Sherina's sister, was also involved. Vira was entrusted to write the screenplay together with Jujur Prananto, Mira Lesmana, Riri Riza, and Sherina.

"The second one is Virnia Munaf. Vira is Sherina's talented and smart sister in writing. She, along with Sherina, participated in the story development and became a co-writer with Mas Jujur Prananto, Riri, and me," said Mira.
