'PARANOIA', Psychological Thriller Film Produced by Miles Films Releases Latest Official Trailer

Kapanlagi.com - Miles Films production house launches the trailer for their latest project titled paranoia. The 1 minute 40 second trailer shows how interesting the film is, starring big names such as Nirina Zubir, Lukman Sardi, Caitlin North-Lewis, and Nicholas Saputra.

The trailer opens with Dina (Nirina Zubir) and Laura (Caitlin North-Lewis) in a car laughing, accompanied by cheerful music. However, after a few moments, the atmosphere of the following scenes starts to change. The fast-paced music combined with the sound of a ticking clock adds to the suspenseful atmosphere of the story.

Tension after tension engulfs the characters, who seem to be a close-knit family with an unknown person. A brief fight scene that concludes the trailer leaves implied questions from the overall trailer as written in the film's poster tagline, 'Husband. Wife. Daughter. Stranger. Who do you trust?'

1. Synopsis

As a development from the previously launched teaser trailer, this official trailer provides an overview of the story of the film PARANOIA about Dina who escapes from her husband, Gion (Lukman Sardi). She is hunted because besides running away with their child, Laura, she also carries a valuable item.

In her hiding, an unknown man named Raka (Nicholas Saputra) appears and disrupts the relationship between Dina and Laura. The situation becomes more difficult and the threat gets closer.

"Watching this trailer, from the first few seconds people will immediately recognize that this is a film produced by Miles Films. A family, a mother and child, smiling. Then the teenager dances cheerfully. But as soon as the next few seconds come in, wow! Something new from Mas Riri and Mbak Mira," said Lukman Sardi, one of the main actors of the film PARANOIA.

"There is tension that keeps building up until the end of the trailer and it makes us curious," he continued teasing.

Director Riri Riza talks about the process of making the official trailer for the film Paranoia. "For me, PARANOIA is a new experience in storytelling because this is my first film in the genre," said Riri Riza.

"And I'm very happy to have Ratrikala Bhre Aditya to work on this trailer, because he knows exactly what I want to ensure that the elements of emotion and human relationships, which are important parts of the film PARANOIA, can be felt in this trailer," he added.

3. Soon Available in Indonesia

The producer, Mira Lesmana, revealed that this film was produced during the pandemic, specifically at the end of 2020. In addition, the film has also premiered at the 25th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN) 2021 in South Korea in July 2021.

"When we released the poster and teaser, we were delighted with the enthusiastic response from the public and friends. I myself can't wait for our first drama thriller film to be enjoyed in Indonesia.
