Since its release on March 31, JUMBO has successfully garnered 2 million viewers in just 10 days and has made a significant impact on its audience. Behind this successful film are indeed great people who worked hard to create JUMBO, which took 5 years and involved more than 200 animators.

One of the hardworking individuals behind the scenes is Ryan Adriandhy, who serves as the director of this film. Known as one of the founders of the Stand Up Comedy community, Ryan was the champion of the first season of the Stand Up Comedy Indonesia (SUCI) competition. Having loved animation since childhood, Ryan eventually decided to pursue a Master's degree in Film and Animation at the Rochester Institute of Technology in the United States. Ryan Adriandhy, whose full name is Ryan Adriandhy Halim, is an artist born in Jakarta known as a comedian, animator, director, as well as an actor and presenter. Since becoming active in the entertainment world in 2011, he has continued to showcase his abilities in various creative fields and is now actively sharing his work through social media

Since childhood, Ryan has shown a great interest in the world of animation and comics, although he was once a victim of bullying, this did not extinguish his passion for creating. His career shone brighter after winning the first season of Stand Up Comedy Indonesia (SUCI) and continuing his animation studies through a Fulbright scholarship at the Rochester Institute of Technology in the United States, which further deepened his expertise in the field of animation.

His directorial debut began with an animated film titled JUMBO which was released on March 31, 2025, telling the story of a boy named Don who wants to prove his abilities in a talent competition despite often being underestimated. Produced by Visinema Animation involving around 200 local animators, this film not only captivated local audiences but also opened up great opportunities for Indonesian animation to be recognized on the international stage.

JUMBO has been a huge success in the market, breaking records as the highest-grossing Indonesian animated film of all time, attracting over one million viewers within just one week of screening. The film is even planned to be shown in 17 other countries, demonstrating the strong potential of Indonesian animation which is now starting to be recognized globally thanks to the work of Ryan Adriandhy.
