Shani Indira of JKT48 Admits That the Film 'BACKSTAGE' Relates to Life as a Performer

Kapanlagi.com - Some time ago, Paragon Pictures production house held the gala premiere of their film titled BACKSTAGE. This drama with musical elements stars the sibling duo Sissy Prescillia and Vanesha Prescilla.

During the gala premiere, members of the idol group JKT48 were also present. One of them is Shani Indira Natio who revealed that some parts of the film actually relate to her personal life as a performer.

"The film is really related to the activities on and off stage, also the atmosphere backstage. From the beginning to the end, I didn't get bored watching it, I felt emotions from sadness to happiness," said Shani.

Not only Shani, but other members like Eli also feel a closeness to the story offered by BACKSTAGE. Especially when it comes to sibling relationships.

"This is a film about sibling relationships. When I'm fighting or dealing with my sibling, it feels like being in a movie. So it feels even deeper," said Helisma Mauludzunia, the owner of the full name.

2. Becoming a Shadow Singer

BACKSTAGE is a music drama created by Guntur Soeharjanto. This film tells the story of a sister named Sandra who becomes a shadow singer for Elsa, her younger sister.

In addition to Sissy Prescillia and Vanesha Prescilla, it also stars Achmad Megantara, Karina Suwandi, and Aulia Sarah. This film will be released in theaters across Indonesia starting from December 30, 2021.
