Shooting During the Pandemic, Klik Film is Ready to Release Original Movies Starring Various Stars - Various Genres!

Usually, they only broadcast new offerings and the best collection of foreign productions, but starting from February, they are ready to release original content produced under the Klik Film Productions banner.

As an opener, they released three romance genre films at once on February 13, coinciding with Valentine's moment. 1. Three Films at Once

Releasing three films simultaneously in one day seems to be intentional. According to Frederica, the director of Klik Film, this is to mark that starting from February and onwards, the streaming service will also present original content, including feature films, independent films, and series.

"Why three films at once, so Klik Film will indeed start in February to release original film content which comes from the ideas of the writers or directors themselves. In Klik Film, we have more freedom to explore, to play with storytelling," said Frederica in a press conference via Zoom on Monday (8/2/2021).

2. A Zombie-Themed Series

In the future, Klik Film will release three original content every month, with the story ideas coming directly from the directors or screenplay writers. Frederica revealed that there is an interesting content about zombies to look forward to.

"The films here are made based on the desires of the directors or screenplay writers. We recently made a Javanese-language series with zombies. Klik Film tends to be more wild in that direction," explained Erica, as she is affectionately called.

3. Pandemic Shooting, Film Treatment

Furthermore, Frederica explained that although made for streaming services, the films that will be released are not produced haphazardly. Despite the filming taking place during the pandemic, the treatment is still made like a feature film.

"The film's budget is not random. The budget is good, the preparation is not just shooting immediately. It's not like that. We have readings, pre-production, final production, design production, and also use a color palette. The actors are also given space for big readings, that's for sure. Because if the actors are not ready, it will be captured on camera that their eyes do not speak with what is in the script," she concluded.
