'MY LECTURER MY HUSBAND' Planned for Season Two, Prilly Latuconsina Doesn't Want to be a Disobedient Wife

As a producer, Manoj Punjabi will not take this series lightly because he already has standards that cannot be underestimated.

"We have confirmed that we will make the second season of MY LECTURER MY HUSBAND. We won't just make a series, the standards will be raised so that we can compete with foreign series. Handling this product cannot be done carelessly, the treatment must be like a film but the length (duration) can be as long as eight or twelve episodes," said Manoj when met at MD Place, Setiabudi area, South Jakarta, recently.

1. Don't Want to be a Disobedient Wife

Prilly Latuconsina and Reza Rahadian are confirmed to be involved in portraying a couple with a significant age difference named Inggit and Arya. While in the first season, Inggit tends to be fierce, Prilly hopes that she can change in the new season.

"In this first season, Inggit keeps getting angry at Mr. Arya. So in the second season, please don't keep getting angry at me. I don't want to be a disobedient wife in the second season, I want to be a wife who is devoted to her husband," said Prilly with a laugh when met in the same place.

2. Adapted from the Wattpad Novel

MY LECTURER MY HUSBAND itself is an eight-episode series adapted from the Wattpad novel of the same title by Gitlicious. This series tells the story of Inggit, a student who marries her lecturer.

In addition to Prilly Latuconsina and Reza Rahadian, there is a character that is equally captivating, Tristan played by Kevin Ardilova. The presence of the character Tristan confuses the public in choosing who is suitable to be Inggit's partner.
