Kapanlagi.com - The horror film Lampir has finished shooting. The film is scheduled to be released at the end of the year. One of the Lampir cast members, Gandhi Fernando, has his own story during the shooting of the film in Bogor and Depok.

Just like the mystical nature of the film, Gandhi Fernando also experienced inexplicable events. At that time, Gandhi and Rory Asyari had to shoot a scene at 3 am.

"It happened twice, when I was alone in a scene and when I was with Rory Asyari. The wallpapers in the villas were torn off by themselves. Some even got caught on camera. It seems like someone was angry and tore the artistic film wallpapers. I was a bit scared because the incidents happened repeatedly," said Gandhi Fernando.

Although experiencing mystical things, Gandhi Fernando admitted that he is happy to be back shooting after a long hiatus in the acting world and focusing as a TikTok content creator focused on film reviews.

"I'm really proud of this film and can't wait for it to be released in theaters. I've seen the result and I'm satisfied. I also found many new families in this film because the production was so enjoyable," he continued.

Gandhi Fernando explained that this Lampir film was indeed inspired by an old film titled Mak Lampir. However, the story is certainly not 100 percent the same as Mak Lampir.

2. Already Known for 10 Years

In addition to Rory Asyari, Gandhi Fernando also acted alongside Ge Pamungkas, Ardina Rasti, Hana Saraswati, Sheila Salsabila, Ravi Pestrani, Arthur Tobing, Gesya Shandy, Jolene Marie, and Yayu Aw Unru.

For the star of the film Dongeng Mistis and the romantic comedy film titled Zodiac: Apa Bintangmu? which is streaming on Prime Video, it is not difficult to build chemistry with Ardina Rasti, whom he has known for quite a long time.

"It's actually easier to build chemistry with someone you've known for 10 years. It's the ones you just met who are a bit hesitant to build chemistry with. So, because Rasti and I have known each other for 10 years, it's very easy to build chemistry with her. And we also like to correct each other's acting to perform at our best as actors," he explained.

The film Lampir is directed by Kenny Gulardi and produced by Philip Lesmana, M Husni, and Marcell Hartawan. Lampir is the third production from Sinergi Pictures as a production house, which has released 2 feature films in 2023, namely Perjanjian Gaib and Bukannya Aku Tidak Mau Nikah.
