After Winning at the Asian Academy of Creative Arts 2018, Adinia Wirasti Receives Offers to Star in Foreign Films

Kapanlagi.com - Actress Adinia Wirasti has received many offers to star in foreign films after winning an award at the Asian Academy of Creative Arts (AACA) in 2018. The actress, known for her role in the film Ada Apa Cinta?, won the Best Actress in a Leading Role award for her performance in the film Critical Eleven, which was screened on the HOOQ platform.

"Several projects have finally come in, so the door is indeed open. It depends on whether I want to take them or not, whether it's a mutual agreement or not," said Adinia Wirasti when met in Central Jakarta on Wednesday (5/7/2023).

However, Adinia Wirasti did not accept all the film or series offers that came at that time. She preferred to work on domestic film projects.

"There are (things rejected) because not everything can be taken. It is (the title) but it's not nice to mention," she said.

Meanwhile, Sheila Timothy, an award-winning producer and brand ambassador for the Asian Academy of Creative Arts for Indonesia, praised the Asian Academy of Creative Arts for its efforts to promote local content and creative works from Indonesia.

2. Unforgettable Experience

"I have done filming in Indonesia on many occasions, for shows like The Amazing Race, The Bachelor USA, documentary videos, and it has always been an unforgettable experience," said Sheila Timothy.

In addition to Adinia Wirasti (Best Actress in a Leading Role 2018), there are several Indonesian actors and actresses who have won the Asian Academy Creative Awards. They are Oka Antara (Best Actor in a Leading Role 2019), Jamie Aditya (Best Actor in a Leading Role 2019), and Emil Heradi (Best Adaptation of An Existing Format 2020).
