Bunga Citra Lestari Comeback in Film Adaptation of Webtoon Comic 'PASUTRI GAJE', Forced by Reza Rahadian Until She Agreed

Kapanlagi.com - Bunga Citra Lestari has decided to return to acting in films after a four-year hiatus. She is involved in the romantic comedy PASUTRI GAJE which is adapted from the popular comic of the same name.

Bunga was initially very reluctant to be involved in Fajar Bustomi's film. She was even forced by Reza Rahadian, who plays alongside her, to join the project.

"Unge was offered the role first, but I convinced her to be involved in this project. It was difficult to persuade her until there had to be coercion. Because she is suitable for this role," said Reza when met at the Falcon Pictures office in the Duren Tiga area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (20/6).

1. Acting in Films is a Commitment

Bunga Citra Lestari does not accept any role that comes her way. Because joining a film project requires a commitment that takes months.

"Acting in films is like a commitment to me. Because it takes a lot of time and you have to dive into a new character. When singing, you can go home right away. That's why I decided to take a break from films until I found a script like this, and I get to act with Reza too. It's like coming back home but with a different spirit," said Bunga on the same occasion.

2. Waiting for Self-Readiness

After being absent for four years, Bunga Citra Lestari admitted that she missed acting in front of the camera. However, she chose to be patient and wait for her own readiness and choose the right role.

"I also miss (acting). But I'm waiting for when I'm ready to return to film. I give myself time to be patient. I've played in some films before, then something happened in my life, I had to fix my life first, am I ready or not," said Bunga.
