Ideosource Entertainment & Paragon Pictures Ready to Continue "LOSMEN BU BROTO" as a Series with New Stars

LOSMEN BU BROTO was originally adapted from a television series by Tatiek Maliyati and Wahyu Sihombing. Like the movie, this series has received support from the family.

Ifa Isfansyah takes on the role of showrunner in the LOSMEN BU BROTO series, while Arwin Wardhana acts as the director. They are committed to maintaining the core and uniqueness of LOSMEN BU BROTO, while providing relevant touches with a fresh and innovative serial format.

Arwin Wardhana, as the director, emphasizes the importance of maintaining visual consistency between the film and serial versions of LOSMEN BU BROTO. He believes that this serial will have a different color and uniqueness from other serials.

“We will still maintain the visual consistency that is the main thread. Although this is a serial, we still adopt visual concepts as in the film. The LOSMEN BU BROTO serial will be one of the actual serials with a light yet strong cultural element, especially Javanese culture," he said.

Maudy Koesnaedi is very happy to see the continuation of her story as Bu Broto in this serial. For her, the role of Bu Broto is the biggest challenge compared to other roles.

"Since the beginning, we did have plans to continue LOSMEN BU BROTO. I am very happy to see those plans come to fruition. I am very happy to be able to feel the warmth of Bu Broto's family again, just like when we produced the film. This opportunity gives me a great challenge to play a character different from before and not be stuck in my stereotypical patient character," said Maudy.

Mathias Muchus also expressed his very emotional feelings because he was able to play the character of Pak Broto again. For him, his involvement in Losmen has a long history.

"Every time I talk about Losmen, it always feels melancholic because I have a long history with this project. My feelings are very turbulent and emotional, as if I am returning home with my new family now.

Of course, I also feel happy, excited, and full of enthusiasm to keep Losmen in a good position in the hearts of the community," he said.

Baskara Mahendra also feels challenged in his role as Tarjo in this series because his character gets a more significant portion.

"I am very excited to see the development of the dynamics of family relationships and how Tarjo plays an important role in forging strong bonds among them. This provides an opportunity to explore universal aspects of family life and depict the dynamics of relationships between parents and children," said Baskara.

Ayushita felt immediately interested and honored when she received an offer to play Mbak Pur in the LOSMEN BU BROTO series.

"I was very interested because LOSMEN BU BROTO is one of the very popular works with a good story, as well as the film. The quality is extraordinary. And I feel very honored to be part of Bu Broto's family," she said.

Febby Rastanty joined the LOSMEN BU BROTO series and will play Jeng Sri. Through her role, she expresses respect for the characters that have been created by her predecessors.

"I am very honored and excited to play Jeng Sri in the LOSMEN BU BROTO series. I am committed to bringing a new interpretation and bringing Jeng Sri to life with deep emotional dimensions in every episode of this series," said Febby.

Marthino Lio feels like he's coming home when he plays the character of Jarot again.

"I am very happy and grateful for the opportunity to play the character of Jarot again in the LOSMEN BU BROTO series. Jarot is a character that I love very much and has become part of my career journey. Returning to this series is like coming home," said Marthino.

Erick Estrada, who returns to play Atmo, is happy but also faces greater challenges.

"I am very happy to be back as Atmo in the LOSMEN BU BROTO series. The challenge is much greater than in the film version. Now Atmo will experience more exciting, funny, and emotional ups and downs," said Erick.

The LOSMEN BU BROTO series also introduces several new characters, one of whom is the character Anna played by Wulan Guritno.

"I was interested in being involved in the LOSMEN BU BROTO series because of its interesting story, complex characters, and working with a talented team. I hope to make a good contribution in bringing this story to the audience," said Wulan.

In addition, Sisca JKT48 also joins LOSMEN BU BROTO as Sekar, who will often interact with Tarjo.

"When I watched the LOSMEN BU BROTO movie, I immediately fell in love with it." I have always been interested in films that showcase Javanese culture. So, I am very grateful to have been offered a role in this series. During the filming process, it felt warm and familial. Although I have only been here for a few days, it feels like I have known the other actors for a long time. I am also thankful to be involved in this project with
senior and accomplished actors and actresses," said Sisca.

Augie Fantinus will play Partono in this series. He feels challenged by the character he will play.

"I really liked the movie LOSMEN BU BROTO when I watched it. I like the movie and the actors as well. So, I feel proud and happy to be involved in this series, especially in playing the character of Partono previously played by Didi Petet. It is an interesting challenge for me to play it well," he said.
