Serial 'JURNAL RISA' Receives Positive Response from Society, Risa Saraswati's Physical Appearance Becomes a Joke among Family Members

Kapanlagi.com - The series JURNAL RISA has been airing on the Disney+ Hotstar streaming service since the end of May. Since its first episode until now, positive responses have been pouring in from society, especially from children who are the target audience.

As is known, this series by Awi Suryadi tells the story of Risa Saraswati and her brother during their childhood. The story is set in the 90s.

"On social media, we received great responses, it really met our target because my friends' children watched it and they liked it. They kept asking for the next episode every week," said Risa, who was met at MD Place, Setiabudi area, South Jakarta, on Thursday (15/6/2023).

The family admitted to enjoying the story offered by the JOURNAL RISA series. However, they made jokes about the physical appearance of the child actor, which was different from reality.

"The family's response is positive. As long as they're happy, I'm happy too. They even joked around saying things like 'Oh, your nose is too pointy'. They only commented on superficial things like 'Your hair used to be short'. That's all they talked about," said Risa while laughing.

2. How Similar is it to the Real Story?

When asked how similar the story of Risa Saraswati and her brother's childhood was to the series, they said it was the same. However, there were some changes that could be understood.

"In terms of the story, it's related, but the portrayal in the series is more daring. In reality, we might have been more afraid. But that's normal because the story has developed since we were young," said Risa.
