Daring to Take the Challenge, TJ Gains Up to 20 Kg for the Film 'WHY DO YOU LOVE ME'

Kapanlagi.com - Used to only play supporting roles, this time TJ was given the opportunity to play a key character in the film 'WHY DO YOU LOVE ME'. However, for the role of caretaker named Endang, he was challenged to gain weight and become fat.

Given two months to gain weight, TJ did it without consulting a nutritionist first. Every night before bed, he consumed blended milk and bananas.

"No (consultation), just eat whatever needs to be eaten to become fat according to the character. Because there's only two months to gain weight, so I drank blended milk and bananas every night and my body swelled," said TJ when met at Planet Hollywood, Gatot Subroto area, South Jakarta, Thursday (22/6/2023).

1. Total Weight Gain of 20 Kilograms

Initially, TJ's weight was fifty-seven kilograms. For his role in the film WHY DO YOU LOVE ME, the director asked him to gain weight up to seventy-five, but he ended up exceeding it by two kilograms.

"The director asked me to gain up to seventy-five kilos, but I ended up gaining up to seventy-seven kilos. So, I gained a total of twenty kilos. It's crazy," said TJ, who is also known as a radio presenter.

2. Never Been Fat

Having a fat body has never been experienced by TJ in his lifetime. Therefore, in addition to gaining weight, he trains sensitivity on how to become a woman with a large body size.

"I have to fatten up quickly, I have never had a body with that weight in my life. To blend in with the feeling of being a big-bodied person that I constantly train. For example, it's difficult to wear shoes because of the tightness in my stomach that I have never experienced in my life," said TJ.
