'JENDELA SERIBU SUNGAI' Reminds Olla Ramlan of Childhood Memories in Banjarmasin

Kapanlagi.com - Actress Olla Ramlan returns to star in a film titled JENDELA SERIBU SUNGAI. The film, which is about children, tells the story of three children, namely Bunga, Arian, and Kejora, who have different dreams and aspirations.

Having the opportunity to star in the film makes the former wife of Aufar Hutapea grateful. Moreover, the film is set in Banjarmasin, which is her birthplace.

"Alhamdulillah, I am very proud as a Banjarmasin person who was born and raised in Banjar, suddenly JENDELA SERIBU SUNGAI appears, which highlights Banjarmasin, which is my birthplace," said Olla when met in the Fatmawati area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (4/7/2023).

Without thinking long, the mother of three children immediately accepted the offer to play in the film. Besides being able to go back to her hometown, Olla wants to prove that her latest film can compete amidst the onslaught of horror and action genre films.

"It is very proud for me, especially since I was born here, the language is also Banjar language, I am still fluent in it, if one family still speaks in Banjar language, hopefully it will be accepted by many people. Throughout Indonesia and also there can be knowledge gained from the film. Amen," she said.

Olla admitted that her hometown holds many memories of her childhood. From birth until she moved to Jakarta when she was in third grade of elementary school.

"Honestly, there are so many memories, you know, there are so many houses in Banjarmasin that have the river right below, I used to bathe in the river a lot, bathe there, use soap and everything there, also wash clothes there, so there are many flashbacks," Olla concluded.

2. Ajil Ditto to Ariyo Wahab

Prominent names like Ajil Ditto, Agla Artalidia, Bima Sena, Sheryl Drisanna, Halisa Naura, Mathias Muchus, and Ariyo Wahab also participated in the film.
