Taking on Dangerous Scenes in a Horror Movie, Gabriella Larasati Dares Without a Stand-In

Kapanlagi.com - The horror film titled ROH MATI PAKSA finally released in the market after being delayed for almost three years. One of the cast members of this film is actress Gabriella Larasati.

Gabriella plays the character of Vina, who is not afraid of supernatural things. However, this is in contrast to her real life.

"I'm not someone who is very brave or curious about those things, but I believe they exist. That's why when I was offered the role, I said yes. Because during filming, there were people taking care of us, reciting prayers, so I felt brave," said Gabriella when met at Epicentrum XXI, Rasuna Said area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday night (19/10/2021).

Many scary incidents happened to the cast during the filming process in 2018. However, it didn't make this 22-year-old actress refuse offers for horror films in the future.

"Am I traumatized? Not really. Sometimes I think I don't want to, but the next day I do. Filming horror movies is interesting, the trauma is temporary, but the curiosity remains," she said.

In this film by Adi Garin, Gabriella Larasati performs a possession scene while flying. For that dangerous scene, she was pulled using a sling to be able to move here and there.

"The scene using the sling had to be re-taken three times. The first time I tried it, I actually had a real accident. At first, they offered me to use a stand-in, but I didn't want it because I was afraid of not being able to express myself," said Gabriella.
