The Excitement of Ngarak Pamitan Si Doel Event, Many Mothers Cried

Kapanlagi.com - After holding the Mega Concert of The End of Si Doel's Love Story, Falcon Pictures and Karno's Film held the event Ngarak Pamitan Si Doel to promote the film THE END OF SI DOEL'S LOVE STORY.

All the cast of the film such as Rano Karno, Maudy Koesnaedi, Cornelia Agatha, Mandra, and Suti Karno were invited to tour Jakarta. Starting from Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), Depok, Pasar Minggu, Kota Tua Jakarta, and Bekasi.

The event became more festive because the places visited by Si Doel's group featured Betawi dance and tanjidor entertainment, as well as typical Betawi foods such as kerak telor and dodol Betawi.

1. Enthusiasm of the Community, Mothers Even Cried

Seeing the enthusiasm of the community who met the Si Doel actors, Rano Karno felt happy. There were even some mothers who couldn't hold back their tears when they met the Si Doel actors.

"It means they didn't know we were coming, it's different from a meet and greet. It shows that people know us, our name is no longer called Rano Karno but called bang Doel, bang Doel," said Rano Karno when met in Kota Tua, West Jakarta, Sunday (19/1).

"This indicates that they know because Doel's journey has been quite long, almost 27 years. We are even like a family. Sometimes there are those who love Sarah and Zaenab, that is a success. There are even those who hate Zaenab's mother. It means that's how good he played the character," he continued.

2. Many Are Unwilling to End

However, many loyal fans of Si Doel are wondering if this film will end. Many are requesting for a sequel. However, Rano Karno admitted that there are no plans yet.

"I need to pray and perform Umrah first, hopefully, but I still don't know at the moment. In my mind, Si Doel must have a choice. Because the title is The End of Si Doel's Love Story, Mandra protested the most, saying that Si Doel hasn't found love yet," Rano Karno concluded.

THE END OF SI DOEL'S LOVE STORY will be released simultaneously in all cinemas in Indonesia on January 23, 2020.
