Visinema Pictures Releases Official First Look of 'MENCURI RADEN SALEH', Release Date Finally Revealed!

Kapanlagi.com - Among the many Indonesian films that will be released in 2022, MENCURI RADEN SALEH is one of the most anticipated. This heist genre film stars a number of young Indonesian actors, such as Iqbaal Ramadhan (PIKO), Angga Yunanda (UCUP), Rachel Amanda (FELLA), Aghniny Haque (SARAH), Umay Shahab (GOFAR), and Ari Irham (TUKTUK).

After keeping fans waiting for a long time, Visinema Pictures, as the production house, finally announced the official release date of MENCURI RADEN SALEH in theaters, which is on August 25, 2022. Even the first look teaser for this film directed by Angga Dwimas Sasongko can already be seen on the Visinema Pictures YouTube channel today, Tuesday (31/5).

This is Visinema's first heist film and it tells the story of a group of young geniuses attempting to steal a Raden Saleh painting. This type of story concept can be said to be the first of its kind in Indonesia.

In the first look shared by Visinema Pictures, we can see cool and exciting action scenes; from racing, fighting, chasing, to collisions. From this, we can see that MENCURI RADEN SALEH was not made lightly. This film has a large and complex production scale.

At the beginning of the first look, we see Piko, the character played by Iqbaal Ramadhan, painting in a dark and hidden room. After that, we see Piko with two of his accomplices, Sarah and Ucup, reviewing their robbery plan, which was given by Dini and Permadi, two mysterious characters whose roles are not yet known.

Not only does the first look reveal the planning stage, but it also leaks some tense scenes when the robbery takes place. Starting from the racing action carried out by Tuktuk and Gofar, the big collision faced by Piko and Sarah, to the tense faces of Ucup and Fella when they see their action on the verge of failure.

Seeing the released first look received enthusiastic response from the audience, the director Angga Dwimas Sasongko also shared his enthusiasm. Angga said that he is equally impatient with the audience to watch the movie Stealing Raden Saleh in theaters.

"Just like all of you, I am also impatient to see the movie Stealing Raden Saleh in theaters. This enthusiasm has even been buried since the beginning of the screenplay 3-4 years ago. Let's see and celebrate together the action of this thief gang in theaters on August 25th," said Angga excitedly.

In line with Angga, Aghniniy Haque as one of the main cast members also shared her enthusiasm. Aghniniy, who portrays the character Sarah, said that she is truly happy to see the most challenging and thrilling film project for her will soon greet the audience.

"Finally, the movie Stealing Raden Saleh will be released! When I watched the first look, I remembered the challenging and thrilling moments during the filming. Can't wait to meet Piko, Ucup, Fella, Gofar and Tuktuk in theaters later," continued Aghniny with great enthusiasm.

Not to be left behind, Iqbaal Ramadhan also expressed his amazement when he first watched the first look of the movie Stealing Raden Saleh. "I was truly speechless after watching the first look earlier." It was really cool! I don't regret getting beaten up, hit, and chased during the filming last time," recalled Iqbaal.
