Often, we watch movies that have been widely discussed in the media and have received a "trusted" rating from viewers. But, aren't they all the same, KLovers? It is not uncommon for horror movies like ANNABELLE, CONJURING, and INSIDIOUS to receive comments of being overrated from the audience.
Although there are several reasons why a movie can be labeled as underrated, many of them are still very much worth watching, even in terms of jump scares, they are quite successful.

1. Tin & Tina

TIN & TINA is a Spanish psychological thriller film directed by Rubin Stein. Set in the 1980s in Spain, TIN & TINA tells the story of a married couple named Adolfo (Jaime Lorente) and Lola (Milena Smit) who have to undergo a tragic abortion. They carry out the abortion because they do not want the unborn child and it causes them to experience a crisis of faith. They then adopt a pair of twin children named Tin (Carlos Gonzalez) and Tina (Anastasia Russo) from a monastery. While living in the monastery, Tin and Tina receive a strict religious education. This causes them to develop an obsession with religion, which disturbs Adolfo and Lola.

2. Aftermath

This film tells the story of a young couple, Kevin and Natalie Dadich, who experience various conflicts despite being newly married. Natalie turns out to be cheating, causing their trust in each other to fade. Kevin is traumatized after learning about Natalie's affair with another man. This dark event becomes the basis for Natalie and Kevin to move houses and start a new chapter. This decision is also the result of counseling with a psychologist. Natalie and Kevin buy a cheap but luxurious house. Apparently, the house is difficult to sell because a murder of a couple occurred there. They reportedly died tragically, so no one wants to buy the house. As a Crime Scene Cleaner, Kevin knows that the house has a luxurious interior design, so he decides to buy it. However, strange events beyond reason occur after Kevin and Natalie move into the house. Natalie feels like someone is watching them, and even her phone suddenly disappears. The room temperature can suddenly become very cold. They also often hear noises from the basement. The strange events reach their peak when Natalie sees someone's feet passing by across the room. However, Kevin instead considers Natalie to be hallucinating. With moving to a new house, Kevin and Natalie's relationship is actually getting strained. Especially when Natalie has to work with her ex-husband, Kevin becomes even more blindly jealous. What is the end of their marriage?

3. Apostle

The film APOSTLE is set around the year 1905. It tells the story of a man named Thomas Richardson who dares to go to a remote island to save his sister. Thomas Richardson's sister has been kidnapped by a secret cult. The cult demands a ransom for the safety of his sister. Thomas Richardson infiltrates the group to find out about his sister's condition and take her away. However, the secret cult does something wrong by dealing with Thomas Richardson. Who would have thought that Thomas Richardson would actually investigate the secret cult with his community. The deeper he investigates, the more confused Thomas Richardson becomes.

4. Last Shift

LAST SHIFT is an American psychological horror film starring Juliana Harkavy, Joshua Mikel, J.LaRose, Mary Lankford, and Natalie Victoria. The Sanford Police Department moves to a new facility, Jessica Loren spends her first shift as a rookie officer at the old station that will soon be closed. Before leaving her alone at night, Sergeant Cohen tells Jess that all operations have been transferred to the new building. She then has to wait for the hazmat team to transport hazardous materials from the evidence storage. Supernatural activities disturb Jess throughout the night, she receives a phone call from Monica Young asking for help. Outside the station, Jess meets a prostitute named Marigold, who mentions the connection of the building to the late serial killer John Michael Paymon. As the leader of a cult worshiping Satan, Paymon committed mass murder with his followers Kitty and Dorthea before the police killed all three. After another call from Monica, an officer informed Jessica over the phone that Monica had died a year earlier as the last victim of the Paymon Family. Jessica also learned that Paymon committed suicide while in police custody and is reported to haunt the office.

5. The Pact

Nichole Barlow (Agnes Bruckner) comes to San Pedro with her daughter Eva (Dakota Bright) to attend her mother's funeral. Strange events at their mother's house begin when Nicole and Liz (Kathleen Rose Perkins) mysteriously disappear. Annie believes that their mother's spirit is responsible for the disappearance of Nicole and Liz. As Detective Bill Creek (Casper Van Dien) begins his investigation, several oddities in the house are revealed. Annie tries to re-enter her mother's house to uncover the dark secrets in their family.
