Expensive Motorcycle Accident, 'MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 7' Shooting Delayed

Kapanlagi.com - Filming for MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 7 in England had to be postponed again after last month, the film was granted special permission by the UK government to continue shooting without the 14-day quarantine rule. This delay is not due to the coronavirus pandemic, but rather because of an expensive motorcycle accident on the filming location.

The accident occurred when a stuntman riding a motorcycle attempted a high jump. After a few meters, the cardboard padding used as a landing bed for him rubbed against the motorcycle tire, causing it to ignite and the expensive motorcycle to catch fire and explode. This caused a lot of smoke, leading to the closure of the airport around the filming location. Five fire engines were dispatched to handle this incident.

“Fortunately, no one was injured but this is truly a disaster, not to mention very costly for all parties involved. Tom is very frustrated. No one wants more delays,” said a source to The Sun on Tuesday (13/08/2020).

Tom Cruise has been preparing for this action sequence on a rented plot of land in Oxfordshire since last month. He seems upset because a miscalculation caused an accident that resulted in losses. When the accident occurred, the 58-year-old actor was filming with a parachute nearby.  

The film MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 7 has been delayed for four months due to the corona pandemic and is currently hoping to complete production in September in Venice, Italy. The incident adds to the previous delay.

Alongside Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise), MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 7 will also star Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Vanessa Kirby, Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff, Henry Czerny, and Shea Whigham. MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 7 is currently expected to be released on November 19, 2021, and the eighth film is scheduled for November 4, 2022. Let's just wait and see!
