Fantastic Four Soon to Join Marvel Cinematic Universe!

Kapanlagi.com - Kevin Feige, the head of Marvel Studio, has just announced that Marvel is working on a new project for the film FANTASTIC FOUR. Director Jon Watts, who previously worked on SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING and SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME, is trusted to work on this film.

There is no further information about this film project. In Disney's Investor Day, Kevin Feige only revealed the project name and logo. But with the addition of Fantastic Four to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we will definitely be presented with an amazing film.

1. nth Adaptation

This is not the first adaptation of Fantastic Four. In 2005, Fox successfully released FANTASTIC FOUR on the big screen. Starring famous actors like Chris Evans, Jessica Alba, and Ioan Gruffudd, the Fox version of FANTASTIC FOUR received a sequel in 2007 titled FANTASTIC FOUR: RISE OF THE SILVER SURFER.

Unfortunately, the sequel received many negative criticisms and was considered a failure by Fox, causing the Fantastic Four project to be halted. Until finally in 2015 they tried to bring back Fantastic Four to the big screen. Now filled by actors like Michael B.Jordan, Kate Mara, and Miles Teller, FANTASTIC FOUR (2015) still failed to bring the comic version of Fantastic Four to the big screen.

2. First Marvel

After Disney successfully acquired Fox, Marvel Studios now has the right to use the Fantastic Four characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Moreover, Fantastic Four are the first characters in the Marvel universe.

Fantastic Four, consisting of Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic), Johnny Storm (Human Torch), Sue Storm (Invisible Girl), and Ben Grimm (The Thing), are the first characters created by Stan Lee when writing Marvel comics. They existed before Spider-Man, Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, and others were created. Now with the joining of Fantastic Four to the MCU, we just have to wait and see how Jon Watts will incorporate them into the Marvel film world.
