Sneak Peek at Marvel Studio's Muslim Superhero Project, 'MS MARVEL'

Kapanlagi.com - With the end of phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel studio is preparing other characters to join phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Starting from The Eternals, Moon Knight, to Ms Marvel will join the MCU.

Long time no hear, apparently Marvel Studio has secretly started filming Ms Marvel. Located in Atlanta, United States, we can see the initial appearance of this new Marvel superhero. JustJared recently uploaded a photo of actress Iman Vellani as Ms Marvel on the set.

1. Captain Marvel Fans

In the photo released by JustJared, Ms Marvel played by Iman Vellani is riding a bike and wearing a blue Avengers logo t-shirt. As an outerwear, she wears a gray Air Force jacket like Captain Marvel wore when she was still an Air Force pilot.

Another photo shows Iman Vellani on the rooftop of a house, sitting while wearing a cloak to cover herself. However, the bottom part of the cloak is open and shows Iman Vellani wearing a red superhero costume and blue shoes like Captain Marvel.

2.Tolerance Bridge

Ms Marvel or Kamala Khan is the first Muslim superhero in Marvel who has her own comic. Depicted as a girl of Pakistani-American descent, Kamala Khan gains her powers when she faints while surrounded by Terrigen Mist. The mist contains Inhuman DNA created by the Kree that gives Kamala Khan superpowers.

Although Kamala Khan or Ms Marvel is a Muslim, her comic is not Islamic-themed. However, the purpose of creating Ms Marvel is to serve as a bridge of religious tolerance for all readers. The United States, inhabited by various religions, greatly needs a sense of tolerance towards one another. So Ms Marvel was created to be a guide for readers to always be tolerant.
