Barack Obama Approves Drake to Portray Him in Biographical Film

When asked by Complex magazine about Drake expressing his desire to portray him in a film, the first black President of the United States responded, “I think Drake can do anything he wants. He is a talented brother. So, when the time comes and he is ready,”.

This Grammy Award winner seems to consider Barack Obama as an inspiration in his life. In 2010, when interviewed by Paper magazine, Drake stated that he hoped someone would make a biographical film about Barack Obama. He added that he would love to portray this influential figure.

“I always keep an eye on him. Every time Barack Obama appears on television, I never change the channel. I always pay close attention, listening to the inflection of his voice. If you ask the people closest to me, I am quite skilled at imitating someone," he said to Paper magazine.

When asked about his acting career, Drake said he is always offered roles as a basketball player or rapper. However, he wants to play a big role and have an impact on many people's lives. "I want to do something great. Do something for my culture, which is young people who are still sensitive to everything happening around them," said the Canadian rapper.
